Highs and lows from the final first week as an undergraduate back in town:
Highs: looking out of the window at any time, hugging and catching up with loved friends, running across Manhattan Bridge, living with my freshman roommate, Yoga to the People, strolling through the East Village, CitiBike, getting soaked in the rain last night--being able to dry up, having coffee and drinks with the steward from the plane over, signing with FF2 Media and meeting up with the New York internship team, applying for a Social Security Number.
Lows: unpacking, taking the GRE, being reminded of the fact that I really can't afford being here, missing the friends who aren't coming back this fall, doing laundry, trying not to take in that this is my final semester.
Another high (above sea level): the view from our 8th floor dorm apartment.
Ps. I'd like to apologize to my film and photography savvy friends for using my five year old iPhone camera for taking pictures, but it's a result of me adhering to two principles I feel very strongly about, namely: convenient multifunctional devices are good and unnecessary conspicuous consumption is bad. I do love nice pictures though...
