About
University of Toronto is the largest and typically highest ranking university in Canada. The core “St George’s” campus is located in downtown Toronto, Canada’s commercial centre and one of the largest financial centres in North America. U of T also features two satellite campuses in suburbs Mississauga and Scarborough. It is a multi-faculty university with strengths across engineering and the sciences, humanities (it is the birth institution for the influential Toronto School in communications theory), business and law.

Student life is a mix of what Toronto has to offer as a city, and the social activities organised by the constituent Colleges (each has its own character with Trinity College often considered the most academically prestigious, University College socially dynamic, and Woodsworth hosts most of the international students). There is also greek life and good sporting facilities.
