In many’s view, Yale is the quintessential Ivy League university; a liberal arts education among highly motivated students, world renowned professors, in a beautiful Connecticut setting. Student life is in part centred around the 12 colleges on campus, where students live, eat and hang out together, but there is vast student life outside the colleges, with clubs, sports and social events…and who knows, perhaps you will have a chance to explore one of the secret societies, like the notorious Skull and Bones.
Yale has a long-standing, friendly feud with Harvard. The schools play pranks on each other and compete in sports. Although this is all fun and games, the rivalry does reflect the school’s excellence. Few institutions could compete with Harvard.
