Founded by the author of the American Declaration of Independence Thomas Jefferson in the early 1800s, University of Virginia – commonly referred to as UVA – has strong historic foundations. The company is consistently ranked in the top 30 colleges in the country and a large variety of subjects are taught at undergraduate level.
